Hunt – Hopeless!

Once again a politician thinks that the privacy of British people is worth whatever he can get an interested party to pay for it! Jeremy Hunt, (Secretary of State for Health), is to allow access to an N.H.S. patient’s medical records to private companies for £1.00! What a little shit, a man who knows the price of everything but the value of nothing, apparently there is an ‘opt out’ but this is not being publicised. The reason for this gross invasion of privacy is that, the details will help medical research, what it will do is allow access to medical records with no control over how they are used.
What happened to the confidential nature of the Doctor/patient relationship? Hopefully a breach of this relationship will be illegal and Hunt can be challenged in the courts, he can then be sued and his head stuck on a pole alongside quite a few other politicians of a similar slippery nature.
Joking aside, it is time the people of the U.K. began to understand what we have, critically a society where you can speak your mind and where privacy is respected, two of many important rights, fought for and won by the blood, sweat and tears of the intelligentsia, the working class and the trades unions. It is too soon for a revolution in the U.K. most people are too comfortable, (luckily for the politicians) and are generally not cold and hungry – at least not until winter, when old and frail people will once again suffer and die because fuel bills cannot be met.
Before you think this is an incoherent left wing rant, look at the ‘Wiki’ page for Hunt.

Hunt’s Wiki page

A died in the wool member of the ‘old boys club’, a failed entrepreneur, progressing upwards on the basis of ‘it’s not what you know but who you know’ and privilege, an expense cheat, a tax avoider, a man whose judgement is extremely questionable – at least if his comments on the Hillsborough disaster are anything to go by. There is a long list of accusations of conflict of interest, nepotism and privilege surrounding his political career. On the basis that there is no smoke without fire, he’s foremost a man unfit for office – but a man to be trusted with the health records of a nation – you must be joking!
